However, when the announcement is made, Alfalfa is nowhere to be found. The boys catch Alfalfa in the company of Darla -- "a girl! The club's members try their hardest to break the two apart, eventually causing their beloved clubhouse to burn down.

Darla is mistakenly led to believe Alfalfa feels ashamed of her, so she turns her attentions to Waldo, the new rich kid whose father is an oil tycoon. Further trouble ensures when their prized go-cart "The Blur" is stolen by local neighborhood bullies Butch and Woim. How can they win the big race and its prize trophy?! In addition to having to rebuild the clubhouse, the boys now need a new set of wheels. They band together to build "Blur 2: The Sequel. Boys will be boys, girls will be girls, but this summer, they'll all be rascals.

Rated PG for some rude dialogue. Did you know Edit. Trivia During filming for the ballet scene, Bug Hall and Travis Tedford wanted to learn the choreography but instead were instructed to "goof off". Goofs Before Darla kisses Alfalfa in the boat, she flattens down his cowlick at on the DVD but in the next shot from behind Alfalfa at it is still standing up. The cowlick is only visible at in Full Frame format remastered from the original "spherical" non-anamorphic 35 mm negatives and is not visible in the Wide Screen format which does not show the full height of the negatives.

It is not a goof by the film makers, but rather by those who released the film in Full Frame format. Brittany Ashton Holmes' name was said 3 times during the credits.
